Privacy Policy
Retell is committed to protecting its customers' privacy
and so we are disclosing here any issues related to the privacy
of personally identifiable information of our customers.
We have adopted a set of information management guidelines
that serve as the basis for our customer relationships. These
have been developed to comply with the Data Protection Act
1998. We aim to take note of advice published from time to
time by the Information Commissioner. Accordingly, guidelines
are subject to change and any such changes to our privacy
policy will be posted on this page without notification.
For information on the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Information
Commissioner please follow this link: www.dataprotection.gov.uk
A summary of the measures taken by Retell to protect our
customers' privacy is as follows:
Calls may be recorded or monitored and used internally for
training or quality purposes, or to resolve any issues such
as "who said what". We would not allow the playing
of any calls outside Retell.
We do not sell customer details to third parties. We may
very rarely share your information with another company that
also supplies telephone recording or very closely related
equipment or services such as telephone role playing equipment
or telephone training courses so that those companies can
contact you. We would not let any company outside such an
extremely tight relevance have your details for marketing
purposes.
At any time you can contact Retell in anyway that you wish
and ask for us to alter that the way that we contact you.
As most of our sales are business to business we do not collect
much in the way of personal information. However we do need
name, address, postcode and telephone number to be able to
send products to you. We may also collect personal information
from you through your use of enquiry and feedback forms and
every time you email us.
We also log IP addresses that visit our web site, or the
location of your computer on the internet, so that we can
track a user's session, but do not link IP addresses to personally
identifiable information.
What do we do with the information collected?
We may perform statistical analyses of user behaviour in
order to measure relative consumer interest in the various
areas of our site (for product development purposes) although
we will not know who any individual is.
We may periodically contact you by phone, fax or email with
information on telephone recording issues that we believe
will be of interest to you. We have no wish to irritate you.
If you wish to opt out of receiving such information from
us contact us to let us know.
We may provide a summary of all personal information that
we have about you upon request. We will charge £10 for
such requests. To make such a request, write to us, enclosing
a cheque, and indentifying yourself so that we make sure that
we send you your information.
We are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies
of web sites to which our site may link.
